The Tyndale Company, a 4x Top Workplace Winner in TX and certified woman-owned business, is seeking a 2^nd Shift Warehouse Associate to join our team in Northern Houston! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking orders and replenishing pick locations – verifying, labeling, and processing incoming garment shipments. This Associate will also pack orders, ensuring the correct items and quantities are being shipped, using a hand-held device to scan garment bar codes to ensure 100% accuracy.

HOURS AND SHIFT: 2^nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Follow picking instructions from a handheld device
• Pick correct garments for customer orders according to the hand-held device’s instructions. Enter quantity picked into scanner
• Unload incoming shipments. Stage and sort shipments
• Verify and inspect shipments as per Tyndale Receiving Guidelines
• Record and properly complete internal and external paperwork
• Label garments with barcodes as needed
• Put away material following established put-away procedures
• Separate orders into groups or singles in preparation for shipping
• Perform visual inspection verifying garments match items ordered on the packing list, also checking for matching logos and hemming
• Scan bar codes on the packing list and garments
• Read and verify any notes on the packing list
• Communicate issues to management in a timely manner
• Make boxes/bags and pack orders after scanning, including all paperwork. Apply shipping label
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance
• Must possess basic computer knowledge
• Must be able to read and function handheld device
• Previous experience in a warehouse operation and warehouse management system is a plus
• Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred, forklift certification also preferred
