Overview

The Tyndale Company, an 8x Top Workplace winner in PA and certified woman-owned business, is seeking a strategic and people-first IT Manager to lead our Infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE teams. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, this role is responsible for driving operational excellence, system reliability, and cross-functional collaboration while fostering a high-performance team culture. 

 

HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 2 days per week, and 3 days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our corporate headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow technical teams, fostering a collaborative, high-trust environment.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to support team development and accountability.

  • Align IT operations with business goals, ensuring strong cross-functional communication.

  • Execute IT strategies and roadmaps, ensuring delivery on key milestones.

  • Oversee infrastructure reliability, automation, and service-level objectives (SLOs).

  • Manage cross-team collaboration across Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, and Security.

  • Proactively identify risks, resolve bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.

  • Lead automation and observability efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce operational toil.

  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and configuration practices.

  • Monitor KPIs such as uptime, MTTR, and resolution metrics.

  • Enforce compliance with security standards and incident response protocols.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT leadership, managing Infrastructure, DevOps, and/or SRE teams.

  • Proven track record of delivering IT initiatives, managing high-performing teams, and improving operational reliability.

  • Deep understanding of IT operations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and infrastructure management.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Datadog, etc.).

  • Experience in incident management, security practices, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to bridge technical and business teams.
