Overview

The Tyndale Company, an 8x Top Workplace winner and a privately held, family-owned, and growing certified woman-owned (WBE) business is hiring a part time Private Security Executive Chauffeur.  This Executive Chauffeur will provide the highest level of safety and service to various executives, but primarily the company President and family. Outstanding communication skills, forward thinking, and strong knowledge of the Greater Philadelphia and New York Metro and surrounding areas are keys to success. The Executive Chauffeur drives a Company provided vehicle on a variety of trips, both corporate visits and personal itineraries, and typical travel includes but is not limited to transit to airports, New York City, local dining, and running errands. All scheduling is to be handled by the CEO’s Executive Assistant

 

*This is a part-time opportunity with a schedule that will vary considerably week to week and month to month. To be considered, candidates must be flexible and available on a short notice with the ability to work during evenings, weekends, and as needed and local to Bucks County, PA*

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, efficient, comfortable driving and protection services following local, state, and federal laws;
  • Manage service appointments, mechanical work, scheduled maintenance, and professional detailing as needed always keeping the vehicle reliable and clean inside and out;
  • Responsible for all pre-check procedures such as maintaining engine fluid levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels, and internal and external visual inspections;
  • Maintain written travel logs containing mileage, locations, travel time, work hours, vehicle service entries, and receipts; Manage and track all related expenses;
  • Maintain a professional appearance including wearing smart casual corporate-branded apparel;
  • Ensure privacy and strict confidentiality of all travelers;
  • Route contingency pre-planning in the event of unexpected travel disruptions;
  • Provide security support and protection of passengers if necessary.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean drivers record; ability to pass a comprehensive local, state & federal background check;
  • Previous Security Driver, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience highly preferred;
  • Concealed Weapon Permit or Reciprocity for State of Assignment; PA Act 235 Certified is preferred;
  • Flexible and available on a short notice with the ability to work during evenings, weekends, and as needed
  • Ability to anticipate and maintain situational awareness;
  • Attentiveness to customer’s requests and ability to maintain confidentiality in all communications;
  • Able to interact with executives and guests in a warm but professional manner;
  • Familiarity and confidence in using GPS software, local traffic reports and navigation;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

 

Work Environment/Physical Demands: 

  • Travel will vary during the day or night, including early mornings, daytime, evenings, nights, and weekends;
  • Lifting up to 50lbs;
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, and driving;
  • Must be fully functional such that no factors inhibit cognitive or mechanical abilities at any time;
  • Ability to drive in daytime and nighttime with 20/20 vision naturally or correctively.
