Tyndale is hiring an organized and experience Inventory Manager to monitor, evaluate, and control of our end to end inventory positions. This Manager is responsible for optimizing inventory levels, coordinating stock replenishments, analyzing sales history and forecasts to determine stock items.  Additionally, the role is focused on optimum inventory levels across multiple locations, while optimizing supply for seasonality, new product introductions, aging inventory and ensuring high performing inventory turns.

 

HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 2 days a week, and 3 days a week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our Tyndale headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County) or our location in North Houston, TX for onsite work as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in implementation of inventory planning system.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions regarding stock levels and procurement.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate replenishment in a timely manner.
  • Plan stock purchases based on inventory forecasts, product availability, and reorder points to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
  • Analyze inventory related KPIs and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze changes in orders or seasonal trends and suggest changes in inventory targets.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to optimize inventory accuracy, reduce carrying costs, and improve inventory turnover ratios.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address inventory-related issues and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and teamwork to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional service.
  • Participate in Sales and Operations Planning meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years experience in inventory management, warehouse management or supply chain required
  • 5+ years experience in management strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in inventory planning software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to work independently.
