As we expand Operations, we're adding a new Manager of the Account Support and Standards as the direct link between the Commercial/Customer facing Organization and Operations Organization.  This is a pivotal role focused on standardizing, managing, and enhancing the alignment across the supply chain, from forecast to delivery.  This professional is the single point of contact between Commercial and Operations, responsible for ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration among various departments with the primary goal to standardize and optimize end to end supply chain efficiency, exceed customer expectations, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills, adept at navigating complex supply chain projects and business environments.

 

HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 2 days a week, and 3 days a week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our Tyndale headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County) or our location in North Houston, TX for onsite work as needed.

Responsibilities

  1. Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships across internal departments, understanding their business needs and objectives, to align expectations end to end.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Commercial & Operations organizations, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall alignment.
    • Regularly communicate to provide updates on alignment with operating standards, key activities and identify areas for improvement.
    • A key member of the S&OP process.
  2. Supply Chain Coordination:
    • Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, and distribution to ensure a smooth flow of goods and services.
    • Monitor and analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain efficient and reliable supply chain operations.
  3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on supply chain performance.
    • Provide regular performance reports, highlighting achievements, potential risks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions.
  4. Project Management:
    • Lead and participate in supply chain improvement projects, ensuring timely execution and successful implementation.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and technologies that enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, implementing strategies to mitigate and manage these risks.
    • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and disruptions. 
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of the supply chain operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in supply chain management, account management, or a related role.
  • Project management experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across different functional areas.
  • Familiarity with supply chain software and technologies.
