Hybrid/Remote: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance; this opportunity is a work from home role on a regularly scheduled basis requiring 2 days a week onsite and 3 days working remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our Headquarters in Pipersville, Bucks County, PA.

The Business Development Supervisor’s responsibilities are to supervise, train, and mentor the Business Development Representative (BDR) team to produce successful and consistent results. The Supervisor ensures that the team is qualifying large, cold prospects into warm opportunities for the National Account Executive team. The Business Development Supervisor will assist the BDR team directly with selling Tyndale’s Small Account Solutions, accounts with an annual recurring spend between $5k and $50k.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise BDR Team including training, mentoring, goal setting and management of individual and team metrics;
  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new BDR members;
  • Management of BDR Monthly Compensation Program;
  • Handle monthly, biannual, and annual reviews with BDR direct reports;
  • Place outbound calls and emails to qualify new and existing leads where we have limited traction and/or limited qualifying information; 
  • Work closely with the National Account Executive Team to effectively transfer warmed/qualified leads.  Ideal targets have $100k+ in annual sales revenue potential;
  • Close new small accounts for Tyndale utilizing our designated sales process.  Work closely with Account Specialist(s) to transition closed business into the implementation and ongoing account maintenance phase;
  • Utilize the Marketing pricing tool to create price quote forms for prospects;
  • Assist Sales and Sales Administrators with researching new opportunities for prospective customers and add them to our CRM;
  • Attend assigned National and/or Regional Tradeshows.

Qualifications

 

  • 2 years of sales experience with cold calling required;
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred;
  • Candidate must be comfortable with heavy sales prospecting;
  • Minimum of one year of CRM management experience required;
  • Self-learner with an interest in becoming a product knowledge expert;
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office.
