    Tyndale Company, Inc. has an exciting fall internship opportunity for students interested in a career in the Human Resources field.  This internship opportunity was developed for the purpose of providing highly detail-oriented students currently registered in an undergraduate Human Resources degree program or a program with an HR focus, and who plan to enter a career as an HR professional, with a meaningful internship experience, while supporting the organization with project work.


    Interested students should submit a cover letter detailing their interest in the Human Resources field, and making note of any relevant coursework and projects or work experience, including previous internships, along with a resume (please include current GPA, both cumulative and within major) in MS Word format to: humanresources@tyndaleusa.com



    In this internship position you will have an opportunity to learn about and gain practical real world experience in the field of Human Resources through providing support and assistance to the HR Department in the following activities:


    • Assist with the coordination of interviewing and new hire onboarding processes;
    • Participate in college career/job fairs on-location;
    • Complete applicant tracking for Affirmative Action Plan requirements;
    • Coordinate completion of all employee record retention requirements;
    • Learn basics of benefits enrollment and administration;
    • Perform job analysis and update to Job Descriptions as a key major project;
    • Perform audit of employee files and support completion of robust electronic filing system;
    • Assist with maintenance of and updates to HRMS system;
    • May assist with Job Training Program Key Initiative;
    • Other HR Department projects, as determined by the HR Team.

    This position is anticipated to be a Monday through Friday position during the 2019 fall school term—September – December. Part-Time hours are available and flexible.

    This is a paid internship: Pay rate = $17/hour.

    Academic credit is optional.  For information on earning academic credit, please consult your faculty advisor.


    • Must be enrolled in, and have successfully completed a portion of, a college degree program in Human Resources Management or a program with a concentration in HR and have taken a minimum of one HR course- entering into their junior or senior year Fall semester 2019;
    • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Professional composure, positive attitude, and conscientious, pro-active approach to work;
    • Detail-oriented;
    • Sense of urgency;
    • Ability to multi-task and keep up with a fast paced corporate environment.
