    Tyndale is seeking a highly organized Executive Assistant (EA) to work alongside of our company President.  This is a dynamic opportunity for a forward thinking and high-performing individual contributor.  An ideal candidate will be detail oriented and capable of independently prioritizing high level projects. The Executive Assistant will gain exposure to all of areas of Tyndale’s business, and have full capability to support the priorities and strategies of the President in delegated meetings. The Executive Assistant will leverage organizational skill, accountability for agreed-upon actions, and ensuring that future milestones are scheduled and achieved.  There are limited clerical responsibilities that must be handled with high attention to detail and consistent excellence.  This opportunity is a potential fast-track into a leadership role for a successful contributor.

    Responsibilities

    • The core job responsibility is to support and execute on the President’s priority projects.  These include all areas of the business, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, IT, HR, technical, facilities and other areas.
    • The EA will attend all meetings with the President, and in his absence, the EA will ensure the President’s interests are considered and accommodated.  They will take limited notes, and schedule all follow-up activities.
    • The President’s projects that require EA support include, but are not limited to: cross-functional Strategic Planning initiatives, business-oriented IT projects, change management, strategic customer projects and innovative marketing initiatives.
    • The EA will support ongoing organizational projects with the use of formal project tracking software (MS Project or similar software), memos, Power Point for effective dissemination of communication, and data analysis tools in Excel
    • Clerical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
      • Maintaining the President’s schedule, including all meetings and travel responsibilities.
      • Execute travel reservations, including air, hotel, auto, taxi, dining recommendations and reservations.  Capturing and strategically using loyalty points is required.  Complete, succinct e-mail itinerary delivery for all travel is required.
      • Management of corporate expenses.
      • Monitor and open all USPS mail, and prepare appropriate responses.

     

    Qualifications

    • 3-5+ years’ experience as a consultant in a global consulting or financial firm is preferred;
    • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Business Administration or related field required. Advanced degree or MBA is preferred;
    • Computer skills: POWER USER proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite;
    • Experience with MS Project (or equivalent) is preferred;
    • Outstanding writing ability and attention to detail is required;
    • Strong organizational skills required;
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

     

    Work Environment/Physical Demands: 

    • The President travels frequently and is off site approximately 2-3 days per week.
    • The Executive Assistant schedule requires limited flexibility, and is generally an 8:30-5pm job, with limited off hour’s responsibilities.
    • Occasional short-term travel may be required.
