    Tyndale is seeking a talented and experienced Market Manager to develop new sales opportunities and increase profitability. The Market Manager’s primary role will consist of working alongside our national sales team to both locate and sign new business. The focus of our business development in this region is revenue generation from small to medium sized accounts residing primarily in the Permian Basin. This will be a hands-on role where you will directly contribute to profitability of the retail store, and will also perform several key business-related functions. 

    Responsibilities

    • Understanding the technical nature of FR products with the ability to present them professionally and be technically accurate regarding product details;
    • Develop consistent, ongoing, and creative business development programs driving new business into the retail store;
    • Identify sales leads, and communicate new product developments and services to potential new customers;
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with relevant organizations in the area;
    • Deliver strong communication and follow through on sales opportunities both with internal and external customers;
    • Grow Tyndale’s revenue through attracting new customers and by developing opportunities within our existing customers.

    Qualifications

    • An Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related degree is required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • A minimum of 2 years’ prior distribution center management, retail management, laundry service center management and/or general management experience is required.
    • Prior P & L accountability and experience with budgeting forecasting and management strongly preferred.
    • Logistics experience strongly preferred.
    • Must possess strong leadership competency. A minimum of 2 year’s prior direct staff management managing multiple direct reports experience required;
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
    • Must possess strong attention to detail and strong problem-solving competency;
    • Proficient computer skills including a working understanding of MS Office products; Ability to quickly learn new software;
    • Ability to move/lift up to 40lbs;
