If so, consider exploring our opportunity for a talented and experienced Market Manager for our Retail Service Center located in Midland, TX. In this role you will oversee the day-to-day functionality of an established and blossoming retail clothing store. In addition to managing the staff and overseeing the operations of the store, your primary role will consist of working alongside of our national sales team to both locate and aquire new business.  This will be a hands-on position where you will be responsible for the productivity and profitability of the center, and will also perform several key business-related functions. 

    Responsibilities

    • Primary focus will be the business development of small and medium sized accounts residing primarily in the Permian Basin, delivering increased revenue generation and store profitability;
    • Oversight of all Retail sales related duties and merchandising decisions;
    • Determining and maintaining the appropriate levels of inventory- product mix and numbers;
    • Responsible for ensuring the store set-up is designed to highlight inventory and our brand, and to ensure the store is always kept neat and clean;
    • Understanding the technical nature of the FR products and ability to discuss them professionally and technically accurate regarding product details;
    • Determine staffing and hiring needs of center, and manage staff scheduling and performance;
    • Shipping and receiving of all products from our distribution center to the retail location;
    • Oversight of an in house embroidery/embellishments operation.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related degree is preferred, Associates Degree + equivalent experience required;
    • A minimum of 2 years’ prior distribution center management, retail management, laundry service center management and/or general management experience is required.
    • Prior P & L accountability and experience with budgeting/forecasting and management strongly preferred.
    • Logistics experience strongly preferred.
    • Must possess strong leadership competency. A minimum of 2 year’s prior direct staff management managing multiple direct reports experience required;
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
    • Must possess strong attention to detail and strong problem-solving competency;
    • Proficient computer skills including a working understanding of MS Office products; Ability to quickly learn new software;
    • Ability to move/lift up to 40lbs;
