Do you have the exemplary writing skills, organizational abilities, and marketing savvy to support consistent brand positioning and messaging across multiple channels? You’ll be responsible for coordinating and writing engaging and persuasive proposal responses, communicating brand messaging through marketing materials to external and internal decision-makers, supporting other marketing channels, working with the pricing team, and more – often all in the same day. You must be comfortable collaborating with employees at all levels of the organization. Strong attention to detail is required.


    Your top responsibility is writing Tyndale’s response to RFPs (Request For Proposal) and RFIs (Request For Information) issued by Fortune 1000 companies, state and local governments, and other organizations. This is a critical part of our new business acquisition and client retention strategy, and requires:

    • Strong understanding of unique customer needs, and close collaboration with internal management to ensure Tyndale capabilities match customer requirements.
    • The ability to communicate Tyndale’s strengths and expertise in a clear, concise, and convincing manner.
    • The strong organizational and editing skills and attention to detail necessary to manage multiple projects and documents simultaneously, while ensuring timely and accurate compilation and delivery of your completed response.
    • Writing marketing communications for email campaigns, flyers, Tyndale’s blog, and internal communications.


    In addition to working on RFP/RFI responses, the Marketing Associate supports all aspects of Tyndale’s marketing strategy, including:

    • Email marketing campaigns. Creating and implementing an online campaign strategy
    • Blog posts. Researching and drafting regular blog posts on topics of interest to Tyndale customers.
    • Researching and drafting custom newsletters for various external and internal audiences to expand brand awareness and increase sales.
    • Developing and executing a competitive product pricing strategy for RFP responses.


    Job Requirements:

    • Outstanding business writing skills are the principal requirement for this position.
    • Ability to self-edit for accuracy, content, and clarity.
    • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or other business or writing related field.
    • Previous experience in a corporate marketing or advertising environment.
    • Direct experience writing business proposals and/or RFP responses a significant plus.
    • B-to-B, B-to-C, or retail marketing experience required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on a fast-paced team.
    • Ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames, and meet non-negotiable deadlines.

    Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently.
