    Tyndale USA has new opportunity for a Second Shift Production Supervisor in our Pipersville Warehouse and Embellishments department. The Second Shift Production Supervisor will supervise and oversee the day to day operations of the Embellishment and Warehouse processes on the Second Shift. The Second Shift Production Supervisor will ensure that all sales orders and items are prepared accurately and timely to optimize production and output. This position will be responsible for safety, on-time delivery, efficiency processes, training, and administrative duties.

    Responsibilities

    • Communicate with Director of Distribution and dayshift Managers to resolve operation bottleneck situations between shifts and guidance on priorities and staff deployment;
    • Develop, maintain and oversee departmental (warehouse and embellishments) quality assurance procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity is produced;
    • Partner with managers/associates as well as Inventory Specialist to resolve issues related to production and inventory;
    • Responsible for training, development, direct oversight, and performance evaluation of employees on second shift;
    • Ensure compliance to company safety, housekeeping, and security procedures are followed.
    • Oversee and utilize the Embellishments Workflow software to schedule and maximize machine production while also meeting service commitments;
    • Direct the daily operations of warehouse such as picking orders, receiving, shipping and inventory accuracy controls (including cycle counts), on-time delivery and safety (PPE);
    • Motivate staff to achieve optimal performance and to maintain employee morale;
    • Orient and train employees new to the department in all required production activities, departmental and company processes and procedures. Develop existing employees in new work activities, as appropriate.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or some college coursework preferred;
    • Prior staff management or leadership experience in distribution setting preferred;
    • Three to Five years’ supervisory leadership experience preferred;
    • Prefer basic knowledge of embroidery machines, heat transfer machines, and hand held scanners for warehouse;
    • Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office programs. Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) skills required;
    • Strong attention to detail required;
    • Ability to prioritize and meet all deadlines;
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask;
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
    • Ability to work independently and on a team; Proven ability to provide on-the-job skills training required;
    • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 45 lbs.
