Tyndale Company, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an attentive and dynamic Administrative Assistant to support our VP of Finance and Information Technology. The Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for the VP. In addition, this person will perform several key tasks, such as preparing financial reports, maintaining important documents and renewals, and supporting the Finance and IT teams in any auxiliary administrative work.


  • Organize and Prioritize a large number of competing assignments to meet deadlines and support internal and external customer needs;
  • Maintain insurance policies, including processing all requests for insurance certificates for customers and events;
  • Prepare various finance and accounting related spreadsheets such as revenue, expense and inventory analysis;
  • Track and maintain all vendor insurance certificates;
  • Coordinate timely completion of tax notices to include in payroll and corporate taxes;
  • Draft related tax correspondence for VP’s review and signature;
  • Update yearly or as necessary the IT security plan;
  • Maintain files of confidential or sensitive information; Filing and document retention;
  • Oversee and coordinate the process and prepare any required documents related to Financing, Federal and State tax filings and Insurance Renewals;
  • Facilitate internal communications;
  • Follow up on action items – including interaction with internal Finance and IT staff;
  • Independently responds to issues and requests that do not require the attention of the VP of Finance & IT;
  • Support the Finance & IT Teams in administrative work;
  • Other duties and project work as assigned;


  • Associate’s Degree Required, Bachelor’s Preferred in related fields such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Information Systems;
  • Works well under pressure without compromising detail;
  • Computer savvy, proficient in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel;
  • Detail and goal oriented;
  • Work within deadlines;
  • Proven problem solving skills a plus;
  • Strong organizational skills.
