In this role, you will be responsible for providing client support, billing & reporting for accounts of one or more Account Managers, and will be the point person identifying invoicing problems for assigned accounts.
Maintain client’s aging at their current terms through pro-active collection activities;
Perform custom billing, reporting, adjustments, reconciliation and auditing customer service related issues;
Work with the appropriate sales team to resolve customer service issues discovered during the invoicing and collection process. If an action is required, backup should be compiled and graduated for review and processing;
Maintain client Purchase Orders, expiration dates and credit cards by National Account, Division, Location, Department or Employee levels;
Update customer maintenance with current client contact information for invoice remittance and follow-up;
Ensure billing cycles are set efficiently and accurately;
Keep AR tracking database current with relevant client information, collection and billing progress, and program changes;
Identify opportunities for process improvements;
Perform additional duties and assignments as directed;
Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business to business invoicing preferred.
Experience with custom invoicing
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and Vlookups
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy;
Computer skills-proficient in MS Office, and accounting software experience;
Proficient verbal and written communication skills;
