Overview

Support Outside Sales team by providing direct on-site sales and service to customer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites, meet with employees, and solicit orders;
  • Demonstrate/explain features and benefits of products; 
  • Make recommendations of products within program, emphasizing higher quality items to customers;
  • Perform fittings for customer’s employees;  Prepare ‘fit kit’s for fittings;
  • Take orders placed for products during fittings, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness; collect cash payments
  • Manage travel itinerary and make travel arrangements for customers’ fittings and visits
  • Attend tradeshows and various customer events as necessary;
  • Follow-up with customers experiencing difficulty to ensure problems are resolved
  • Solicit fittings feedback from customers for purposes of increasing customer satisfaction through client services;
  • Disseminate results of customer fittings/events to Sales team, including feedback relating to our products
  • Participate in driver safety training;
  • When not traveling, in office responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Prepare samples for fittings
  • Maintain internal database as necessary
  • Assist sales team by preparing customized catalogs and order forms and building new employees in the computer system
  • Ensure transparency of schedule and internal activities through outlook and flex Zendesk tool to maximize labor efficiency;

Qualifications

  • This position requires frequent travel: Must be able to travel extensively (up to 80-90% during heavy business capacity times) both nationally and regionally via air and car; must follow expense policy
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
  • Current valid driver’s license is required;
  • Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs is required;
  • Strong computer skills- proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat a plus;
  • Ability to work independently with a positive attitude;
  • Must be detail and action oriented;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to quickly build effective relationships;
  • Ability to learn quickly and to understand/ explain information of a technical nature
