Think you have what it takes?  Are you an independent and motivated self-starter with a marketing background?  Do you enjoy working on the nitty gritty details of an event - organizing and handling all elements of trade show and events planning – to see it go off without a hitch?  The incumbent will handle everything from creating invitations for corporate events to assisting with all details of event - menu planning, tracking participation, ordering customer giveaways, participation in site selection, and ensuring all aspects of our trade show presence are handled.  And, the right candidate with the will also assist with user acceptance testing within the Marketing department!

Tyndale's Marketing Department seeks versatile marketer, with a strong detail-orientation.  Must be comfortable working with employees at all levels of the organization, in a fast-paced, hectic environment.   Strong attention to detail is required.


The Marketing Administrator handles a variety of responsibilities.  This includes: 


Accountable for assisting with all aspects of our customer events such as educational seminars, and customer and prospect events Tyndale hosts in conjunction with trade shows.

  • handling invitation list targeting, creation and distribution
  • work closely with vendors to ensure all details are handled - manage guest hotel and dining lists, room set-up, food and beverage
  • ensure customers and prospects have the information 

Assist with user acceptance testing on Tyndale’s many marketing-related IT projects. 

  • Ensure the platform works as expected for customers
  • Work with manager and IT to ensure an excellent user experience
  • Share feedback with IT on changes needed, where applicable

Handling all aspects of Tyndale's presence at dozens of Trade Shows annually, both National and Regional:

  • selecting the correct product mix, giveaways and catalogs
  • ensuring all details of show registration are handled on-time and accurately
  • includes ordering electric, carpeting, lead retrieval, registration, hotel accommodations for attendees
  • manage all trade show registrations, which can be time sensitive 

Assist with the creation of product catalog descriptions and images, business cards, and miscellaneous tasks as needed by the department.  


  • Strong business writing skills are a key requirement of this position.
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or other business-related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required
  • 0-3 years of experience in general corporate marketing. Agency experience considered.
  • B-to-B experience, B-to-C experience or retail marketing experience required.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Well organized with ability to multi-task and think outside of the box.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on a fast-paced team.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter and detailed oriented; ability to work independently.
